Tales of Brynmor

Tales of Brynmor takes inspiration from a Dungeons and Dragons campaign that I took part in during the early 2010’s with my good friends. The campaign had been running for many years before I joined and was rich with lore, character arcs, and ridiculous inside jokes. The name of the land that the game took place in was called Brynmor, and our adventuring party became known as the Iron Core. The first movement, Hymn of the Iron Core, serves as sort of the theme for the band of heroes. Solemn and stoic, this music represent the gravity of the groups quest to defeat the nefarious Cult of the Shattered Hand. The second movement, Galehaven, depicts a somber town of the same name that had been afflicted with a devastating plague. Floodhaunt, the final movement, is the name of a bustling port town, from which the Iron Core sets sail on their journey across the sea, departing the kingdom of Brynmor for the treacherous Shattered Lands.
